3 Major Mistakes You Are Making That Creates More Daily Grind (& less inspiring results)

Jul 05, 2021

Have you been struggling with going nowhere even though you've been trying to move your life in a new direction for what seems like forever? Have you been unknowingly sabotaging your results?

On this week's show, I dropped three main reasons I see that 🛑 stops conscious creators from creating long-lasting change and transformation in their life, business - everything!

Are they holding you back from the life + soul desires + outcomes you truly want?

Asking for + taking FREE ADVICE.

This is a crapshoot. Depending on who you're asking or where you're getting the advice from, determines which random, perhaps unmatched direction your life will go.

What if you're taking advice from someone who knows nothing about what you need? They have no expertise, no proven strategies, no match results to even guide you with. You are simply taking their advice based on their beliefs which may be limited or fear or lack based. (most likely why they don't or can't do what you want to create)

Taking random advice from a blog or video can be interpreted any which way by your own ego, most likely in a limiting way. The advice can be so general it doesn't apply deeply or make any kind of impact on your life. This type of advice is great to open your mind, give you new inspiration - but doesn't mean it's an actual strategy for you.

There's certainly no support or accountability when taking free advice to make sure the advice is implemented, no tracking or measurement to be sure it's even helping or creating progress for you, no next steps to keep you growing.

Grasping for straws for answers, direction, options.

The try everything and hope something works is the greatest way to expend energy with little return for your investment. It's also a great way to grind down your confidence and belief that you can create new outcomes.

When you try everything without even knowing what the right thing is for you, taking the guessing approach, you might create a slight improvement here and there but how will you know what created that outcome? And will you understand why it didn't last?

It's easy to fall into the pattern of trying what everyone else is doing because it worked for them, or saying yes to something (like another MLM business, social media tactic, etc) because you see the outcome you want or at least a sliver of it.

But that doesn't mean any of those actions are aligned for you, which means they are working against you or not doing anything at all for you. All of this can leave you feeling defeated, burned out, questioning your ability to create lasting results.

Getting complacent.

This might seem like it doesn't fit if you're actively trying to improve your quality of life but it happens. Even though you want better results, to improve some or all of your life, you can get complacent without even realizing it.

Being inconsistent with your action in the area you want to improve leads to pushing it off more and more. You can set down a path of guilt, shame, avoidance - thus staying right where you are or in truth, sliding downhill as nothing stays the same. You're improving or declining, but never staying right where you are.

You might use excuses like being 'busy', or not having time to tend to those need to be done action steps which keeps you caught in the loop of right where you are. You tell yourself you'll get to it later, but later is only more of the same patterns playing out.

You may create distractions for yourself like saying yes to things that don't matter, blowing off steam by always planning some fun distraction. You might tell yourself that you deserve to play and have a good time, but in reality you are using play as a distraction to take a break from the life you don't want to be in fully.

There are many ways to fall into a complacent lifestyle, trying hard to convince yourself that what you're doing or focused on cannot be avoided, must be done by you - but if at the end of the day you're not thoroughly enjoying all aspects of your life, you're accepting it as good enough.

Move away from the Dear Abby strategy - which is not a strategy.

Work with an expert to create lasting results. Pony up the funds and invest in yourself. You are worth everything because everything you want comes from you, not to you.

I get it, we all want answers and we want them fast. Like drive-thru fast. But this is your life, not just a meal. You deserve more than a quick-fix to a problem. Your life is not a problem to solve, but if you use the free advice approach, it will be one problem after another to solve - many of which are probably not even yours.

I don't give free advice because I'm not in the band-aid business. I help women create lasting change and transformation based on what their soul wants. I don't throw them suggestions in a DM or text that they can Google on their own.

I do deep work with my clients to move them out of that rat trap of doing random things for random results and into their spiritual, soul-inspired path for lasting results that keep them feeling vibrant, confident and radiant.

Make intuitive assessments about all of your options before committing to one.

This means getting really clear about what the hell you actually want, what feels right for YOU.

You're not here to do all the things, all the ways for everyone. I highly value and understand that you are here for a specific high purpose and no, you won't find it easier by guessing. You must go within, understand what that means the process to do it correctly.

I don't tell my clients what to do, although I've been asked a lot over the years that question. I always help my clients assess with their own intuition what is right for them. I'm not a fortune telling machine that spits out your future for a quarter. I do use my intuition to help you get to the deeper layers, where all your answers are waiting for you. And I show you how to do that for yourself.

This helps you know what's right for you moving forward and takes all the guesswork out of the process. You know your intuitive yes and your intuitive no, make decisions that feel empowering for you without overthinking or hesitating, sitting on the fence or wasting time in your head.

Get so fucking sick of where you are that you don't stay there.

And I don't mean hate where you are and wish you were somewhere else. I mean take a stand that what you're tolerating is not good enough for you. Stop making what you don't want, what is not working for you - okay.

Harness that energy and do something positive with it. As in, take inspired action. Invest in yourself. Get the support you need from someone who knows what you don't know about what you want to create. If it's not me, reach out to someone.

Mostly, value yourself enough to change what you don't like that's not working for you. Time is of the essence. It's moving by faster than ever before. We're faced with more distractions and noise than ever before, so make today count toward your very best quality of life.
