Some Conscious Creators Excel At Living Life On Purpose & Some Don't - Which One Are You?
Jun 27, 2021
There's a lot of talk about living life on purpose, how amazing it is, how alive you feel - but the truth is, some women are just not making it happen.
Do you struggle to find your purpose?
Have you been feeling off more than right on?
Is your energy draining away day by day?
In this week's show I shared what purpose is - and what it's not, signs you are not in alignment for all that's possible for you and of course, how to get on the fast track to your purpose!
Purpose has entirely changed the framework of my life. It's helped me discover who I am, what I'm here to do, who I am here to become. It's given me freedom, opened doors, kept me inspired to show up and activated confidence in me I didn't know I had.
Finding my purpose was not a one-step process. I've gone from thinking of finding one's purpose as a something, a title, a defined identity to understanding and fulfilling my own as an evolving, living, breathing, growing presence that I align with to feel most alive, purposeful in what I'm doing, sharing my gifts in ways that feel meaningful and so on. So not a one size, one thing, and certainly personal for everyone.
That leads us into what purpose is not. It's not some mysterious thing you find defined in a magical book, or under a rock. Ha. You won't go find your name and then see what's listed for you. Purpose is not any one thing, title or task, career path, it's not defined as a label.
This is what seems to trip many women up as they start to feel the call to find their purpose. So purpose in summary is not something you find, it's something you create.
What purpose is for YOU is different than what it might be for someone else. You're not here to follow in my exact footsteps or anyone else's. Certainly you are to be inspired by others, see what they are doing as a way to assess if that lights you up, but no need to go and duplicate exactly what they are doing the way they are doing it.
This leaves more room for you to get creative with your purpose. You can explore, try things on for size, shift in other directions. You're not locked into doing something a certain way that does not feel right for you - a direct sign you are not in alignment with your purpose.
How to move into alignment with your purpose (a better approach than finding your purpose)
-
Notice what you notice that lights you up.
-
Do what feels exciting + inviting for you.
-
Do not do things because you think you should, or because that's what someone else is doing or told you to do.
-
Always go with your gut on how something feels.
-
Take those inspired actions quickly and eliminate anything without question that just does not feel right for you.
-
Basically, do what feels fun for you, be creative
-
Let your soul take the lead!
